Dr. Mantione is currently the Director of the Doctor of Pharmacy Program and Associate Clinical Professor of community pharmacy practice at St. John’s University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Queens, New York. She practices as a pharmacist at the King Kullen Pharmacy and Wellness Place in Levittown, New York. She specializes in nonprescription products and patient education services and holds certifications as a provider and trainer in immunizations, Medication Therapy Management, and as a Certified Geriatric Pharmacist. She is an active member of the New York State Board of Pharmacy and a media advisor to the American Pharmacists Association. Dr. Mantione teaches courses in Drugs and Diseases of the Endocrine and Reproductive Systems, Introduction to Pharmaceutical Care, and an elective in Contemporary Community Pharmacy Practice. She also precepts students completing experiential clerkships in Advanced Community Pharmacy Practice and Key Concepts. She serves on the Curriculum and Educational Policy Committee for the PharmD Program, the Personnel and Budget Committee, and the Committee on Assessment and Outcomes. Dr. Mantione graduated from St. John's University with her BS in Pharmacy in 1996 and her Doctor of Pharmacy in 1998. She then completed a community pharmacy practice residency at the University of Maryland in 1999.
