Join your University community as we sport noticeably shorter hairstyles this spring thanks to the annual St. Baldrick's and Children With Hair Loss (CWHL) event.
What: St. Baldrick's Day and Children With Hair Loss Event
When: Thursday, March 19, 2015
Where: D'Angelo Center, Queens campus
Participants, who will shave their heads in solidarity with children suffering from cancer, raise money for childhood cancer research. One-hundred percent of the proceeds go directly to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. The opportunity to cut your hair via Children With Hair Loss (CWHL) is also a another great way to participate. CWHL is a nonprofit organization that donates hair (8 inches and longer) for wigs given to children suffering from hair loss-related medical diagnoses.
How Can I Participate?
