St. John’s University now offers students in its science disciplines new opportunities for research, professional development, and graduate school preparation. The Materials Research Society (MRS) has approved a petition to create a University chapter at St. John’s.
Business Plan Competition Returns to St. John’s
The James and Eileen Christmas Business Plan Competition and Pitch Event returned to The Peter J. Tobin College of Business on Friday, April 6 after a two-year hiatus. The return featured a wide array of entrepreneurial students pitching their ideas in a hyper-charged “Shark Tank”-like setting.
IICM holds Spring 2018 Graduate Symposium
The Institute for International Communication invited distinguished Soviet dissident and journalist, Prof. Leonid Goldin to speak at IICM on Monday April 9th. The purpose of the seminar, ostensibly about Russian propaganda, was to contextualize for students the methods and underlying models of power practiced by contemporary Russian media.
