Argentine Fulbrights Study English, US Culture at St. John’s
Visiting Fulbright students from Argentina completed six weeks of intensive study at St. John’s University this semester through a special program that included course work in English and their majors, and an immersion in the sites and culture of New York City.

Business Plan Competition Returns to St. John’s
The James and Eileen Christmas Business Plan Competition and Pitch Event returned to The Peter J. Tobin College of Business on Friday, April 6 after a two-year hiatus. The return featured a wide array of entrepreneurial students pitching their ideas in a hyper-charged “Shark Tank”-like setting.
IICM holds Spring 2018 Graduate Symposium
The Institute for International Communication invited distinguished Soviet dissident and journalist, Prof. Leonid Goldin to speak at IICM on Monday April 9th. The purpose of the seminar, ostensibly about Russian propaganda, was to contextualize for students the methods and underlying models of power practiced by contemporary Russian media.
