A United Front
Amid the challenges of a global pandemic, the success of the Fall 2020 semester is a shining example of the fact that we are stronger together—even when we are apart.
By acting collectively to keep each other safe and healthy, St. John’s students enjoyed a robust mixture of on-campus, in-person classes; hybrid classes; and fully online classes, each delivering a rich academic experience for all.
We are committed to welcome the spring semester with the same spirit. Our goal is to offer even more in-person classes, while continuing to deliver various learning options for students.
A Focus on Safety
In-person classes will continue to be held in reconfigured classrooms that accommodate social distancing. Hybrid courses offer the flexibility of attending some classes on campus and some remotely, based on your preference.
Masks are required on campus in all public places, and every member of the campus community has been provided with reusable cloth face coverings. Enhanced cleaning and sanitization continue across our campuses, with hand sanitizer stations positioned throughout. While large, in-person gatherings are limited, we offer creative alternatives for meetings and events. In addition, one residential building is designated for quarantine and isolation purposes, if needed.
Updates to federal, state, and local COVID-19 guidelines may mandate that our plans evolve during the year. Current updates can be found here.
