EMT- Paramedic Refresher

The Paramedic Refresher / Challenge program has adopted the National Emergency Medical Services Educational Standards and uses both on-line written and in class practical examinations to uncover areas of weakness in didactic knowledge and practical skill proficiency.

Overview

The student will only be required to attend those sessions that are mandatory and the sessions related to the challenge exam topics the student failed.

All rules and regulations of the Paramedic refresher program will be outlined the first session of class as outlined in the Academic Guidelines. These rules and regulations are strictly enforced as per the New York State Department of Health EMS Bureau, St. John’s University, and our accreditation agencies.

Review the Paramedic Refresher Day 1 prerequisites tab below.

NOTE: All Paramedic Refresher students will now be required to test to the National Registry standards as required by the NYS DOH, this does not qualify you to take the national register exam.
