To ensure our commuter students are enjoying their St. John’s experience, we offer a variety of different resources from where to park, easy access to mass transit, and how to get involved! Additional information can be found throughout the St. John’s website.
The best way to enjoy your student experience is by getting involved!
Every semester there is an activities fair where all student organizations are promoting themselves to the student body. If students miss these events, the best way to get involved is by visiting the Student Engagement Resource Center in D’Angelo Center, room 125.
Throughout the week, there are events hosted by University departments and student organizations. A majority of these events occur during Common Hour. Common Hour is Mondays and Thursdays from 1:50 p.m. to 3:20 p.m.
Specific commuter student based events events occur once a month, throughout the semester.
Commuter Week, a week long celebration to recognize Commuter students, is hosted every spring.
The best way to stay up-to-date on this is through the University Calendar on MySJU and by following @StJohnsNow and @SJUActivities on social media.
MetroCard are available for purchase from Campus Concierge in the D’Angelo Center, 2nd floor. Options include $5.50, $11, and $22. Only cash is accepted.
