Professor Davidian is the co-author (with Professor Todres) of Reducing Personal Income Taxes: A Guide to Deductions and Credits published by the Law Journal Seminars Press. Prior to joining the law faculty, he was associated with a major Wall Street law firm. Professor Davidian was an Honorary Member of Scribes, the American Society of Writers on Legal Subjects. He was a visiting professor at New York University School of Law during the 1990-91 year and is an adjunct professor in that school's Graduate Tax Program.

In the Spring 1998 semester, he was a visiting professor at Cardozo School of Law (Yeshiva University). Professor Davidian has also taught at Columbia University School of Law and as part of the University of Miami's Graduate Tax Program and the Internal Revenue Service's Continuing Professional Education Program. He has lectured on tax topics as part of New York University's Institute on Federal Taxation and Graduate Tax Workshop, the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education and the American Institute on Federal Taxation. He has also served as a temporary Hearing Officer for the New York State Tax Commission. He teaches Basic and Advanced Personal Income Taxation, Corporate Income Taxation, and Partnership Taxation.
