OUT Laws and Allies
OUT Laws and Allies is an organization at St. John's School of Law comprised of students who identify as LGBTQ+ or Allies of the community. Our goals are to provide a community for LGBTQ+ and identified people, to raise awareness of the legal issues the LGBTQ+ community face, to educate members about potential career paths for those passionate about LGBTQ+ rights, and to advocate for legal issues of interest to the LGBTQ+ community. OUT Laws and Allies sponsors speakers, supports activism, hosts social and other community-building events, and represents St. John's Law School at LGBTQ+ legal conferences.
OUT Laws and Allies' membership is open to students and faculty of all identities who are interested in legal issues that impact the LGBTQ+ community.
