- Note: Please do not purchase airfare until your program has been confirmed to run.
Undergraduate students must apply online following the steps below. Important note: Where applicable, undergraduate seniors must be scheduled to graduate in May 2017 – undergraduate students with earlier or later graduation dates are ineligible. This rule does not apply to Staten Island sophomore students and above applying for the Staten Island Vice Provost Program; however, past Fellowship participants are not eligible to participate in the 2017 Vice Provost Fellowship program. Please refer to your program page for eligibility requirements.
Log on to MySJU to fill out the online study abroad application. Click on the UIS tab; choose “Student,” then “Registration,” then “Global Studies Application,” and then select the appropriate term (hint: Spring 2017) and program.
Choose the appropriate program from the list and be sure to fill out the required essay. In 250 words, tell the dean what you hope to gain from your study abroad experience. Address the reasons why you believe you should be selected for this Study Abroad program, including what you hope to bring back to the St. John's community upon your return.
School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, and Staten Island Vice Provost Programs Only
Fifth-year Pharmacy & Health Sciences and Staten Island graduate students can apply by completing the PDF Application and submitting to the Office of Global Studies. In your 250-word essay, please include what you hope to gain from your study abroad experience. Address the reasons why you believe you should be selected for this Study Abroad program, including what you hope to bring back to the St. John's community upon your return.
