Special Programs for International Students

St. John’s University offers international students many opportunities to study abroad. Learn from professors and other experts on campus and then take a subway ride into the heart of the Big Apple, where you can experience places such as Wall Street, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and Broadway.

If you are not ready for a degree or exchange program, we also offer short-term programs to suit a variety of needs and interests. For example, we invite you to participate in our Study Abroad in New York City program, which combines traditional academic study with opportunities for cultural exchange and language practice while visiting some of the many historical and cultural sites in the city.

Programs are also offered during the spring and fall semesters, and St. John’s can tailor opportunities to your specific needs. Colleges, universities, high schools, and other partners work with us to create credit or noncredit programs that utilize the academic and cultural resources of New York. We have programs for every learner, from teenagers, to college students, to adults.
