We are here to assist you in building the skills necessary to secure internships and locate employment opportunities. Whether you are seeking an internship or a fulltime career in the United States or abroad, we have programs and services to help.

Planning ahead and understanding the employment process and culture in the country where you seek employment is a vital first step in obtaining employment. This guide is intended to provide our international students with an overview of information and resources you will need to be familiar with to successfully search for employment.

University Career Services provides you with one-on-one appointments with a career advisor to:

  • Review your resume and LinkedIn profile
  • Practice with interviews
  • Discuss internship and job search strategies

How can I schedule an appointment with a Career Advisor?

University Career Services also hosts career workshops, networking events, employer site visits, shadow days, employer presentations and career fairs.

How can I register for a career workshop or event?

Log on to MySJU, and then go the Career Services tab and access Handshake to RSVP for these and other events.
