Sexual Harassment and Discrimination Prevention Training for Faculty - scheduled for February 5, 2018
At the end of this session, faculty members will be able to:
1. Understand the scope and range of various types of harassment and discrimination;
2. Identify potentially unlawful, inappropriate and appropriate behaviors under the discrimination laws and St. John’s policies;
3. Understand that faculty members are responsible for setting a good example with their own behavior and are required to respond in a timely and appropriate manner when concerns arise; and
4. Recognize how individuals, departments, and the university can be damaged by sexual harassment and discrimination.
This workshop is required for all St. John's University faculty members. As an employee of the university, faculty members must attend Sexual Harassment and Discrimination Prevention Training for Faculty at least once.
The workshop will be held on Monday, February 5, 2018, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm
