Transfer Student Process and Advisement Information

TSS Process

Welcome to St. John’s University

As a Transfer student, you likely have some questions about the process leading to your enrollment at St. John’s. The following is designed to give you an overview of our process:

Once accepted by the Office of Admission, your transcripts will be reviewed by the Office of Transfer Student Services.

  • You will be notified when your unofficial credit evaluation is available to view.  You will have access to view this unofficial evaluation via your St. John's application portal.
  • You will be given an opportunity to schedule an appointment with a Transfer advisor in The Office of Transfer Student Services.  During this meeting we will discuss your transfer credits and how these credits fit within your curriculum.  Advisors may discuss your academic goals and how to get the most out of your St. John’s experience.
  • Transfer students may also work with an advisor to register for classes after submitting the admission deposit, securing enrollment at the University.
