College of Professional Studies Advisory Board

The mission of the St. John’s University College of Professional Studies Advisory Board  is, among other things, to assist the Dean:

  • By strategically thinking about and providing feedback regarding CPS academic programs, curriculum, alumni outreach, resource allocation, and proposed operating budgets
  • By assessing challenging situations, suggesting innovative solutions, identifying opportunities, and leveraging the CPS brand
  • By promoting a positive image of CPS among present and prospective students as well as among alumni and the public (locally, nationally, and globally)
  • By recommending ways in which to enhance relations among CPS’s faculty, students, administrators, and leading individuals and offices within St. John’s University, the business community, and the outside academic community
  • By reviewing financial and quarterly progress reports against CPS stated goals
