This year, St. John’s University’s Public Health program will host a series of events to help educate our community on current topics and provide general health information.

COVID-19 Health Promotion Student Poster Contest

Select one of these three topics: COVID-19 Vaccination Mistrust, Coping with Mental Health during COVID-19, and the COVID -19 Endemic.

Criteria:

  1. Your poster must focus on a single message.
  2. Graphs and images should tell the story; use text sparingly.
  3. Use a color scheme that is appropriate for your target audience.
  4. Help engage a conversation.
  5. Communicate messages efficiently to diverse audiences.
  6. Use plain language.
  7. Avoid jargon and acronyms.
  8. Use no more than 25 words.
  9. Posters are to be submitted in an 8 ½ x 11 document using PowerPoint or Microsoft Word.
  10. Submit it in a PDF document.

Poster deadline submission: March 28, 2022, at 11:59 p.m. EST

Winners will be announced during the Public Health Symposium on April 7.
