Farah Khorassani, Pharm.D., comes to St. John’s University as an assistant clinical professor in the Department of Clinical Pharmacy Practice. She has a Pharm.D. from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, and a B.A. from SUNY at Buffalo. Since completing a Psychiatric Specialty Pharmacy Residency at UNC, much of her practice and research interests have surrounded treatment strategies in patients with thought and mood disorders. Dr. Khorassani’s other areas of interest include enhancing medication adherence in a psychiatric population and obesity management in psychiatric patients.
