Dr. Palomba is a media management scholar, and his work concerns the consumer behavior, branding, and marketing behind video games, television, and film. During his doctoral studies, he worked with Nielsen, conducting research on how millennials consumed and used entertainment and media content, products, and services. His first position after graduating with his doctoral degree was as a research manager at Ipsos, where he conducted market research for HBO, CNN, Sesame Street, and NBC Comcast among others. He has also been involved in independent collaborations with Bravo and WWE among other firms. Dr. Palomba has presented research at the Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication (AEJMC), Broadcast Education Association (BEA), the International Communication Association (ICA), and the World Media Economics & Management Conference (WMEMC). His work has been published in such journals as Computers in Human Behavior, Games and Culture, and Entertainment Computing.

Teaching Interests

Dr. Palomba currently teaches classes surrounding media management, media analytics, media research methods, as well as video game marketing.

Research Interests

Dr. Palomba's area of research is focused in media management, which examines the consumer behavior, branding, and marketing behind video games, television, and movies.
