Angela Mouzakitis, Ph.D.

Assistant Professor

Mouzakitis comes to St. John’s University as an Assistant Professor in the Psychology department. She received her Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from CUNY Graduate Center. Her area of research includes working with behavior support plans for children with autism spectrum disorder. Additionally, she has published in the areas of treatment integrity of behavior support plans in public schools for teachers working with students with high-functioning autism. Currently her focus is on the development of appropriate transition and vocational programs for adolescents with moderate disabilities.
