Igor V. Nikolaev, Ph.D.
Nikolaev comes to St. John’s University as an Assistant Professor, Mathematics and Computer Science. He earned his Ph.D. in Mathematics from Moldova Academy of Sciences, Republic of Moldova. His research interests include dynamical systems, geometry of foliations, number theory, and noncommutative geometry; he is the author of two monographs in the area of Mathematics. Prior to St. John’s he held research and teaching positions in Montreal, Toronto, Calgary, Ottawa, and Boston.
