Now that NYC has entered Phase 2 of reopening, the University is pleased to announce its Plan for Gradual Return to Campus – Summer 2020. The Plan was developed by the Return to Campus Task Force in compliance with the requirements established by the NYS Department of Health. The Plan can be accessed by clicking on this link.
Beginning on June 24, 2020, the University will implement a tentative schedule to gradually reopen its campuses for certain research, clinical and administrative activities. In order to limit density on campus and enhance social distancing, the University is capping the number of employees working on campus each day at no more than 30 percent through July 19, 2020. Later today, the Office of Information Technology will distribute instructions on accessing the daily wellness check via the St. John's mobile app.
During this first phase of the Plan, employees are encouraged to continue to work remotely when possible. Prior to returning to campus, all employees must acknowledge that they have read the Plan by completing this affirmation form.
The Return to Campus Task Force is in the process of finalizing planning for the Fall Semester. We will update the campus community as those plans are finalized.
