Graduate Symposium
The Institute for International Communication invited distinguished Soviet dissident and journalist, Prof. Leonid Goldin to speak at IICM on Monday April 9th. The purpose of the seminar, ostensibly about Russian propaganda, was to contextualize for students the methods and underlying models of power practiced by contemporary Russian media.
During the 2017 winter intersession, a group of master's students of the International Communication program explored Beijing and the Island of Hainan on their study visit to China.
At the beginning of the 2017 Spring semester, a research team of graduate students of the International Communication program and Prof. Minna Aslama Horowitz traveled to Vienna, Austria, to participate in the 2017 Vienna UN Conference - Implementing the 2030 Agenda.
