On Monday, November 7th, the St. John’s University Center for Teaching and Learning, in collaboration with Writing Across Communities, hosted “Publish and Flourish,” a faculty-led panel discussion and Q&A with tenured St. John's faculty sharing insights on writing strategies, writing resources, publishing, and related topics.

Presenters included Dr. Raj Chetty (St. John's College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, English), Dr. Shruti Balvalli Deshpande (St. John's College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, Communication Studies and Disorders), Dr. Sven Horak (The Peter J. Tobin College of Business, Management), and Dr. Candice Roberts (Collins College of Professional Studies, Mass Communication).

The goal of this collaborative workshop, offered by CTL and WAC every fall semester, is to provide information and support for newer faculty as they navigate the tenure process.

Attendees came from across St. John’s University’s many academic departments, and the advice offered by the presenters was universally beneficial.
