December 13, 2017

Elizabeth (Liz) Ciabocchi, Ed.D., Vice Provost for Digital Learning and Executive Director of Online Learning and Services, recently delivered a presentation with colleagues Cristi D. Ford, Ph.D., from the University of Maryland University College, and Rhonda Spells Fentry, Ed.D., from Prince George’s Community College, at the 2017 Middle States Commission on Higher Education Annual Conference in Philadelphia, PA.

Their presentation, “Reframing the Distance Education Review,” focused on the review of online degree programs in the context of the revised (2014) Middle States standards for accreditation and requirements of affiliation. This interactive session also encouraged participants to reflect upon and share with fellow attendees their best practices, successes, and challenges in preparing for and reviewing online degree programs within their own institutions.
