Tobin College of Business Announces Business Plan Competition

2018 James and Eileen Christmas Business Plan Competition

The 2018 James and Eileen Christmas Business Plan Competition will be held on April 6, 2018, William D. Reisel, Ph.D., Professor of Management at The Peter J. Tobin College of Business, has announced.

The Competition is open to all St. John’s undergraduate and graduate students. It comes with three cash prizes for the top three business plans and three cash prizes for the top three three-minute business plan pitches. The top prize is $5,000.

A business plan not selected to be one of five finalists in the competition may still be selected to take part in the Pitch Event. Ten contestants will be able to pitch their business idea in three minutes and three will win cash prizes.

Submissions are due by Feb. 16, 2018.

The James and Eileen Christmas Business Plan and Pitch Event, underwritten by James W. Christmas '70CBA and Eileen Christmas, is hosted by The Peter J. Tobin College of Business and the St. John's University Office of Alumni Relations.

The Competition submission deadline is Feb. 16, 2018. All submissions require a business plan written by up to five St. John’s students.
