At the beginning of the 2017 Spring semester, a research team of graduate students of the International Communication program and Prof. Minna Aslama Horowitz traveled to Vienna, Austria, to participate in the 2017 Vienna UN Conference - Implementing the 2030 Agenda. Within a workshop on Youth Empowerment for Agenda 2030 Action through Social Entrepreneurship and Digital Social Currencies, the group of students presented their paper to an audience of more than 100 participants and over 10.000 viewers via Facebook live stream. The master's students' research evolved around the central question: Can Crypto Money Save the World?
