The Peter J. Tobin College of Business is thrilled to offer growing options to our graduating students. In a highly competitive labor market better qualifications can make a difference. Hence, we encourage all of our students to enhance their bachelors and masters degrees by getting their professional license and certification. Partnering with organizations such as Becker, the Institute for Internal Auditors (IIA) and the New York Society of Securities Analysts (NYSSA) we are able to help our students obtain a valued CPA license, CIA certification or CFA charter.

During fall 2013 semester, more than 140 Tobin accounting and taxation students prepared the CPA and CIA exams by taking advantage of classes on the Queens and Staten Island campuses or studying by themselves with the review material offered. Finance majors were also able to study for their exams and get the most of the NYSSA review courses attending the live CFA review classes offered at Manhattan campus.

Tobin is committed to create new tools for our student´s success, strengthening their skills and increasing their opportunities.
