Creating Spaces for Transgender and Nonbinary College Students

As part of its continued commitment to create a more inclusive campus, St. John’s University has invited the Transgender Training Institute back to campus to facilitate more workshops designed to provide a foundational understanding of transgender and nonbinary identities and the challenges they face. Workshops will be offered five times over two dates, split between the Queens and Staten Island, NY, campuses.

February 12, 10 a.m.–noon: FACULTY/STAFF SESSION (BEGINNER/INTRO), Queens, Sun Yat Sen Memorial Hall, Inclusivity Resource Center

February 12, 1–3 p.m.: FACULTY/STAFF SESSION (INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED), Queens, Sun Yat Sen Memorial Hall, Inclusivity Resource Center

February 12, 4–6 p.m.: STUDENT SESSION (HYBRID: BEGINNER/INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED), Queens, Sun Yat Sen Memorial Hall, Inclusivity Resource Center
