Michelle Chin '22Pharm.D.

Pharmacies are often critical touch points for health care in the community, and pharmacists are among the most visible members of the health-care system. With this in mind, Michelle Chin made it her mission to get involved in service throughout her six years as a Pharm.D. student in St. John’s University’s College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences.

After Six Years in Pharm.D. Program, Michelle Chin is Ready to Serve the Community College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences
Deven Rodriguez

Deven Rodriguez

Deven Rodriguez had an upbringing he describes as “tumultuous.” Now a cadet in St. John’s University Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) Red Storm Battalion, Deven was relentlessly bullied as a child. For years, he felt depressed and rudderless—until finding a sense of purpose in service to others.

The School of Education

School of Law

  • St. John’s University School of Law continues to rank in the top tier of New York law schools for the outcomes that matter most to law students: passing the bar and securing employment in the legal field.
  • John’s Law once again exceeded the statewide bar passage rate in 2020, with a pass rate of 91 percent (Law.com), and ranks #30 nationwide for American Bar Association (ABA) “ultimate” bar passage, with a pass rate of 97 percent.
  • The School of Law has exceptional placement outcomes, as reported in the ABA Employment Data for “gold-standard” employment (i.e., full-time, long-term, bar-required jobs) and overall employment. In fact, the law school ranks fourth in both categories, behind only Columbia University, New York University, and Fordham University.
