Naples Study Aboard Orientation: Global Entrepreneurship

Program Description: Start the summer on the Mediterranean, focusing on the application of feasibility assessment in innovation and technology projects with an entrepreneurial mindset. Participants will spend time in both Capri and Naples, learning a set of techniques that serve as powerful tools to aid in the design, implementation and continued improvement of new products/new venture projects. Students will work in international teams to create and analyze a new project and will be required to present their analysis using entrepreneurial presentation techniques at the end of the course. The program is enhanced through labs workshops, guest lecturers and business site visits, with the primary goal of helping students develop an ability to make sound innovation decisions based on data-driven decision making and sound cost benefit analysis in order to facilitate effective evaluation and selection of alternative designs and proposals.
