2019 D'Angelo Chair

Hasia R. Diner is the Paul S. and Sylvia Steinberg Professor of American Jewish History, Director of the Goldstein-Goren Center for American Jewish History, and the Interim Director of Glucksman Ireland House at New York University.  She received her Ph.D. from the University of Illinois at Chicago and is one of the foremost experts on the history of immigration and migration to the United States.

Established in 2007, the Peter P. and Margaret A. D'Angelo Chair in the Humanities promotes excellence in teaching and scholarly exchange.
