Judy Chen,CPA, joined the University in 1998 and is currently the Associate Provost for Academic Resource Management and Planning. She is responsible for providing leadership for academic planning, budgeting and space management while ensuring effective fiscal management that is aligned with the University's strategic planning initiatives.
Prior to joining the Office of the Provost, Judy has served at various departments including the Office of Global Studies and Business Affairs. As the Director of Global Studies Business Affairs and Planning, she oversaw the fiscal management and planning of the entire global program operation including both Global Studies and The Language Connection. She was also responsible for partner relations with both program and facility partners. In addition, Judy served as the Internal Auditor of the University for five years. She conducted operational audits of many administrative units and participated in the annual financial statement audits and a university-wide risk assessment.
Judy holds an M.B.A. in Public Accounting and an Ed.D. in Instructional Leadership from St. John’s University and is a Certified Public Accountant. She is a member of the Society for College and University Planning. Judy resides in Fresh Meadows with her husband and two children.
