Family Orientation

Get excited. Get connected. Get ready!

Registration for Family Orientation will be live in the coming weeks. Please check back soon to register for your date.

Family Orientation is an opportunity for families to become better acquainted with campus and the environment that students will call home for the next four years.

During Orientation, family members meet and interact with current students, academic advisors, college deans, and other University administrators who will be integral resources for students. Parents and family members will also have opportunities to speak face-to-face with representatives from departments who can answer questions and help prepare everyone for the students’ first year at St. John’s.

Family Orientation occurs on the first day of New Student Orientation. Parents and family members will have a separate schedule from their student designed to answer their specific questions and needs.

Unlike New Student Orientation, Family Orientation it is not mandatory. However, we encourage all parents and guardians to attend. Parents who register and attend but need to leave early for any reason are welcome to do so.
