Announcing the 2014-2015 Shuttle Bus Service
As of Monday, Sept. 22: After monitoring shuttle timeliness during the start of this semester, we are responding to your feedback by updating the Queens campus Monday to Friday schedule effective Monday Sept. 22. Our goal is to improve on-time performance so that the shuttle bus is a reliable service to you.
We are pleased to announce the continuation of the shuttle bus service as a courtesy to our students.
This past spring, the University worked with an expert transportation firm to complete a full evaluation of our shuttle bus operation.
We are expanding our Queens service from five to seven days, extending the hours of operation, and adding frequency to reduce wait times from more than 60 minutes down to 30 minutes.
In addition, Staten Island service will continue with the previous year's schedule.
With many more public transit options available at our new Manhattan campus in Astor Place, we have discontinued the shuttle service for this campus.
As there are no longer residence halls on the Manhattan campus and with the increase in service to the Jamaica L.I.R.R. and F Train at 169th St, we will still be able to continue to support the needs of our students having class on the Manhattan campus.
Send your comments, compliments, concerns, and any other feedback to email@example.com.
