The St. John’s University PARTICIPATE program is a University-wide annual initiative to promote and increase greater civic awareness, engagement, and participation in the political process.

The St. John’s University PARTICIPATE program began in 2008 during the Fall semester when St. John’s students became engaged in the historic 2008 presidential election. Since that time, the University has annually maintained and expanded the PARTICIPATE program, sponsoring voter registration drives, candidate forums, and other academic lectures and events that promote greater civic engagement and work to create better informed and more active voters within the University community.

New York State voter registration forms are available in the following offices on the Queens campus: Student Government, Inc., Office of the Registrar, and Community Relations.
