Queens Campus

On campus, students can choose among 180 student clubs and organizations, recreational and dining facilities, and a variety of 24/7 activities.

Staten Island Campus

Under the auspices of St. John’s University's Division of Student Affairs, the Department of Student Life on the Staten Island campus is dedicated to ensuring that each one of our students has the opportunity to engage in a rich collegiate experience.

See the Red Storm

Show your Red spirit. As a Johnnie, you’ll be supporting New York City’s Team. Our Division 1 BIG EAST Red Storm men’s and women’s teams are some of the best. We even call Madison Square Garden one of our home courts. So, put on your red and white, and start cheering.

Incredible Community

Red is community. Each St. John’s campus fosters a friendly, supportive atmosphere. Become part of the Red community with over 180 clubs and organizations. Join both students and faculty who demonstrate the Red spirit which distinguishes the St. John’s experience.

New Student Orientation

Orientation is a time where our University family comes together to welcome you to our community. During orientation, you will have a great opportunity to establish relationships with your academic deans, advisors, faculty and several University departments.

Family Orientation

Family Orientation is an opportunity for families to become better acquainted with campus and the environment that students will call home for the next four years. During Orientation, family members meet and interact with current students, academic advisors, college deans, and other University administrators who will be integral resources for students
