
Are you looking to make changes in your lifestyle and focus on
healthier eating habits?
Several times every day, we make food choices that influence our
body’s health. Students who are interested in learning more about
nutrition and dietary changes can meet with our campus’ Registered
Dietitian. With the support of the Office of Wellness
Education, the Registered Dietitian is on hand to create
programming, showcase healthy eating choices, and meet one-on-one
with students.

Reasons to set up an appointment with the Registered Dietitian:
- Healthy eating on campus
- Weight management
- Medical Nutrition Concerns (diabetes, food
allergies, and heart health)
- Making improvements to current eating
habits
- Vegetarian/Vegan/Gluten-Free nutrition
- Emotional issues with food
- Healthy eating on a budget
- Sports nutrition
To make an appointment:
We are committed to helping students take control of their own
health and nutrition as a cornerstone to their success. Any
students interested in making an appointment should email the
Dietitian directly at connella@stjohns.edu
Appointments are available at Student Health Center in DaSilva
Hall. Appointments are confidential and last approximately 30
minutes.

appointment. Also, begin to think about your normal diet and
consider strengths and weaknesses along with specific goals you
would like to discuss with the dietitian. After the initial
appointment, you are eligible to schedule follow-up
appointments.
