Students may set up a Flex account at either the Office of the
Bursar, the StormCard Office or on
the Web through UIS. The
funds placed on this account can be used for purchases made at the
campus bookstore, cafeterias, photocopying, printing and vending
machines. Place the funds on your account in advance of your
purchase, and then simply use the swipe feature of the card to pay
for your items. To replenish, you can place money on your account
by check, cash or credit card at the Office of the Bursar or the
StormCard office, or via the web (credit card only).If you are near
Port Station, replenish there with cash.
Flex accounts do not expire, so you can feel confident that the
funds are safe and available to you when you need to use them.
Please be careful when adding money to your card to insure you
credit the proper account, as money is not transferable from one
account to another.
