About the "What-If Analysis"

As its name suggests, the "What-if Analysis" feature of the Student Advisement Report allows students to see how many program requirements they have already satisfied were they to change majors.

Students may run a "What-if Analysis" against any available program. Officially designated advisors may also run a "What-if Analysis" for their advisees.

Important Points
The phrase "Entry Term" refers to a student's catalog-year requirements. Select your entry term from the drop-down list. New students whose entry term does not yet appear should select the latest entry term available. 

1. At "Step 2" of the "What-if Analysis," students choose the program for which they would like to run an advisement report. If a program does not appear in the drop-down box, either the program has not been coded or it is not an official program of study.
    
2. Programs begin with a two-letter designation indicating the school that offers them. The designations are: SJ (St. John's College of Liberal Arts and Sciences), PS (the College of Professional Studies), ED (the School of Education), TO (The Peter J. Tobin College of Business) and PH (the College of Pharmacy and Allied Health Professions).
   * Note that not all programs of study are offered on all campuses. When selecting a program for the "What-if Analysis," be sure to check the campus indicator (Q, R, S or M) and the degree and major indicators.
    
3. The prompt "evaluation term" at "Step 4" refers to a student's anticiapated term of graduation. For now, everyone may use the default term, "The End of Time."
