| Subject: | Web Class Rosters Available |
With Fall classes starting, I would like to remind you that
class rosters are available on the web and that they are always
up-to-date.
Access Your Web Roster
- Log on to St. John’s
Central
- Click on UIS tab then on “Welcome to UIS” greeting
- Then click on the “Faculty Services” tab
Since students may add and drop classes via the web through
Thursday, September 6, 2012, I encourage you to check your rosters
before each class meeting and periodically throughout the
semester.
Any student not appearing on your roster is not officially
registered for your class, even if the student had originally
appeared on your roster and has been in attendance. Students who
have not satisfied their financial obligation with the University
will be dropped from classes at 7 pm ET on Monday, September 10,
2012. Students who are dropped for non-payment will disappear from
your roster. Please inform any student not on your roster
that he or she is not registered for your class. These
students should be directed to the Office of Student Financial
Services.
The University Freshman Center is eager to assist freshmen in
difficulty. I encourage you to report to the UFC any freshmen who
appear on your web roster but who are not attending class. The
Freshmen Center advisors will immediately attempt to contact
them.
I also ask that you check the rooms to which your classes have been
assigned. Occasionally, it is necessary to make a last-minute
change. Changes are reflected immediately and can be found in UIS
under Faculty Detail Schedule.
Please note that during the Fall 2012 semester we have two
conversion days. On Thursday, September 6, 2012, Monday classes
meet and on Wednesday, October 31, 2012, Thursday classes
meet.
Thank you for your assistance and have a great semester!
