Lent 2010 - Last Lecture, Queens Campus

March 24, 2010 4:45 PM
St. Thomas More Church, Queens Campus

As we celebrate Lent 2010, Christ says to "Walk with Me", in many ways in the scripture. Hopefully Lent will encourage you to say yes to this invitation as you look at your relationship with the Lord and prepare to celebrate His resurrection at Easter.

Last Lecture
This new and dynamic program which started at St. John’s last year is an event that will model the nationally recognized series of lectures where top academics are asked to think deeply about what matters to them, and then give a hypothetical "final talk", i.e., "what wisdom would you try to impart to the world if you knew it was your last chance?"

We are excited to announce that Dr. Julia Upton, Provost at St. John’s University and beloved professor, is our presenter this year.

This Lent, Campus Ministry invites the St. John’s University Community to come and share in this inspirational event. It will allow you to listen and reflect about what you hear and what you will take away.

This event is part of the Lent Program Rest With Me.
