St. John's Dining Services menu reflects the diverse interests
of its student body. From classic American cuisine to low-fat
options to traditional ethnic dishes, there's something for
everyone.
Six meal plans are offered to accommodate resident students. The
difference between each plan is the amount of flexibility given in
a variety of dining facilities on campus. Students should select a
meal plan based on their individual eating habits and
lifestyle.

Carte Blanche
The newest additions to our meal plans are Carte Blanche Meal
Plans. Carte Blanche plans offer today's student the ultimate in
dining flexibility. Life can be hectic and lunch isn't always at
noon; Carte Blanche allows students to enter the dining facility
for a full meal, just a snack or even a drink without counting
meals. Meal Plans also offer students the ability to enjoy
all the other convenient locations on campus. Each meal plan
includes a designated amount of dining points, so that you can grab
a quick latte on the way to class or stop in at Montgoris C-Store
and pick up snacks and beverages to take back to the room.
Carte Blanche Platinum provides
unlimited access all day in Montgoris Dining Hall plus $50 in
dining points (per semester) to be used at another campus dining
facility of your choice.
Carte Blanche Gold provides unlimited
access after 10:30 a.m. plus $200 in Dining points (per
semester) to be used at another campus dining facility of your
choice.

A Board (Meal) Plan is not currently available on the Staten
Island campus. Students are able to place money on their StormCard declining balance account
for Java City and the cafeteria.
Note: All undergraduate resident students must participate in a
meal plan.
