I attended St. John's ten years ago, I
would like to return. What is the process I would have to go
through?

I'm a new applicant. How can I be
considered for a scholarship?
All students' applications are screened for scholarships. If a
student's application meets the requirements for a scholarship, it
is then given to the Admissions Committee for review.
What is a coding sheet? How do I get
one?
A coding sheet is a form that is sent to an accepted student. It is
regarding information about the ethnic background of the student
population. The request of this information has been directed by
the New York State Department of Education. The university asks
that the student complete this form to assist the University in
completing various governmental reports.
What advantage is there for applying to
St. John's over the web for an undergraduate program?
The advantage is that $30.00 application fee is waived.
Is there financial aid assistance if I am
in the CAP program?
No. The reason is because CAP is not a college level program. The
program consists of remedial courses. Once the student has
completed and passed the Program he/she is accepted to the
university into a non degree program.
Does St. John's offer an early Admissions
Program?
Yes. It is a program designed to provide an opportunity for
qualified students to complete their freshman year of college at
St. John's upon the successful completion of the high school
curriculum through the eleventh grade level.
Does St. John's accept the Common
Application?
No.
I never took my SAT's in high school. I
have been out of school for more than a year. Is it still required
for admittance?
No. After being out of school for 1 year it is no longer necessary
to submit the SAT scores.
I am an incoming freshman and have decided
on a different program to major in. What steps do I have to take in
order to change it?
A letter would have to be submitted to the office of Admissions
with the new program that you wish to major in. An admissions
counselor would have to review your admission's application.
