The New York State Public Health Law 2165

York State who were born on or after January 1, 1957, to be
immunized against measles, mumps, and rubella. Documentation of
immunization must be completed no later than 30 days from the first
day of classes. Students who fail to present adequate documentation
will have their accounts placed on hold, will not be permitted to
register for the following semester.Public Health Law 2165 provides that a
student may not attend classes in excess of thirty days
without proper immunization records. The law further states that
students who reside out of state or out of country may not attend
the institution in excess of 45 days.
It is required by law that students
receive two doses of the measles vaccine and one dose of mumps and

previously attended school, which properly documents your
immunization history.
- Serologic testing for MMR antibodies
with laboratory copy of same is acceptable as proof of
immunity.
- Documentation, which proves you have
attended primary or secondary school in the United States after
1980, will be sufficient proof that you have received one dose of
live measles virus vaccine. You must also provide a certificate of
immunization that documents a dose of measles vaccine was
administered within one year prior to attendance at this
post-secondary institution. Documentation of mumps and rubella
vaccines as stated above must also be provided.

birth prior to January 1, 1957 (a copy of your driver's license,
birth certificate, passport).
