Adopting Psychology Methods in Today’s Special Bilingual Schools

By the end of the workshop, graduate students should be able to:

  • Comprehend the different mental issues that children have to face in special bilingual schools
  • Provide students in these schools with the measures, tools, and knowledge to develop healthy relationships with other students, teachers, and themselves by adopting psychology methods in teaching methods
  • Alleviate the students’ stresses in school settings
  • Analyze the students’ academic skills and performance by evaluating their academic interests, e.g. Math, Science, and Global Studies
  • Effectively communicate with the students with the language barrier as an obstacle
  • Mentor and inspire these students
  • Help these students attain the psychological skills to help their families and their communities
  • Raise the students’ self-esteem, self-confidence, and self-worth
  • Encourage these students to become independent and obtain employment
