Black History Month 2011
"Making Black History: Their Struggle, Our
Story, My Future"
Discussion on the idea of "Good Hair" versus "Bad Hair", in terms
of beauty within the African-American community. A scene from
Chris Rock's "Good Hair" will be shown exposing the harmful
products black women use. This will be followed by a presentation
and educational session by a hair care professional, which will
enlighten Black women on which products are least harmful to the
hair. Hosed by Sigma Sigma Rho Sorority, Inc.
