discern which information is most relevant and marketable and omit
unnecessary information. Information should be concise.

References
Although it is not necessary, if you have
references you may include the statement "Furnished upon request."
After completing your resume, prepare a separate printed list of
references you intend to use. Do not mail it with your resume,
unless instructed, but have it with you and ready if an interviewer
asks for references. Your references should consist of previous
employers, supervisors to whom you reported or perhaps a professor
who knows you well. Be certain to secure permission from these
people to use their names. The list should include name, title,
name of company, address and phone number.
