Paying for Graduate School

Part of preparing for graduate school includes researching information about how you will finance your graduate education. Scholarships, graduate assistantships, fellowships, and loans all offer financial aid.

Scholarships
There are many scholarships out there, be resourceful and you will find them.

Assistantships
Find out if the colleges of your choice offer assistantships to subsidize all or part of your tuition. You will be required to work for them at least 15-20 hours per week.

Fellowships
There are National, State and Institutional fellowships available.

Loans
Loans should be your last resort since you will have to pay them back, with interest.
