Mission of the Career Center
As a team of dedicated career educators we serve as a resource
to internal and external constituents offering career counseling,
experiential learning, and employment programs and services.
We are committed to serving a diverse population of students,
alumni, and the university community across multiple campuses; as
well as meeting the needs of the global employment community.
To complement the mission of the University, the Career Center
assists students and alumni with acquiring the knowledge and
developing the skills necessary to take ownership of their personal
and professional development as lifelong learners and to function
successfully in a global economy. The Career Center provides
programs and services that create opportunities for students,
alumni, faculty and employers to engage in mutually beneficial
partnerships that meet the needs of an evolving workforce.
Vision
As a Career Center we will be known for our proactive ability to
show leadership in our field by continuing to anticipate and
respond to changing student needs and the economic climate.
