"I'm really not surprised by the ninety-one percent bar passage
rate,” said Mary C.
Daly, Dean of the St. John’s Law School. “Our students'
academic credentials are the highest in the history of the law
school. They received their undergraduate degrees from some of the
finest colleges in the United States, majored in rigorous
disciplines, and have outstanding GPA’s and LSAT scores.”
Dean Daly also acknowledged the role of the law school’s faculty
in preparing students for the bar examination. "There's no gap
between theory and practice at St. John's. Our professors bring the
best of both to their courses and seminars," she said.
The School of Law’s bar passage rate has steadily increased
since 2000 when it was seventy-seven percent and is twelve points
above this year’s state average of seventy-nine
percent.
